Well, I learned something new today! I usually do the bulk of my quilting with my Pfaff Hobby Grand Quilter 1200. My piecing is done on my Bernina. So, I am quilting away today and suddenly the tread starts to shred and break every few minutes. I stop and check everything, oil everything, end up looking up troubleshooting in my book. NOTHING WORKS! The more I get irritated and the more I quilt the more the tread breaks. It dawns on me to stop and look at my hands. Yep..have a death grip on that sucker like it is never going to go anywhere. I let go of my grip on the fabric and, wow, no more thread breaks. Now if I can just remember to that everytime I quilt. 🙂
I am going to be adding items to my web page that will not be available on etsy.com. So far I have my vintage hankie bags loaded, they are so precious! A must see. Wish the photos would do them justice! I am busy making more of them and other special items. I have recently ended my job with The Motherlode in Red River and starting on my own new adventure. As scary as it is I am VERY excited to be going down this new path. My creative juices are flowing and can’t wait to get moving with all my ideas…so off to work! Cathie
